How can I get a user account for easternalliance.com and the Service Portal?

If your agency is appointed by Eastern, one or more individuals at your organization has website administration privileges. These individuals are able to create your user account, as well as manage your permissions.

Policyholders can register their initial administrator account on the website. Agency administrators are initially set-up by Eastern.

How can I obtain a quote from Eastern?

You can submit business to Eastern through email (submissions@eains.com) or online through our Service Portal. If your agency’s website administrators have provided your user account with permissions to submit business, you can log on to easternalliance.com, click on the Service Portal button, and go to the Applications tab. There, you can enter details, submit and manage your application, and track its status.

How do I access reports?

The Service Portal provides real-time policy and claim data as well as policy documents. The website’s Dashboard features current monthly agency and policy-level reports (and policy documents issued 2023-prior). When you log in to the website, on the top-right side is a link to the Service Portal, and a link to My Dashboard is on the drop-down menu that appears when you click on your name.

In order for you to access this data, your agency’s website administrators must grant you permissions.

How do I access policy documents and information?

How do I view invoices and late notices for my clients?

Invoices and late notices issued in 2023-prior are found in the Payment Center. Invoices and late notices issued 2024-current are found on the Service Portal. When you log in to the website, the Payment Center link appears in the Resources menu and the Service Portal link appears in the top-right corner.

In order for you to access this information, your agency website administrators must grant you permissions.

Why don’t I have access to a particular report or section of the website?

1. Your user account may not be associated with a particular agency code or policy.

In order to perform an action (view a report, access a policy document, enter applications, etc.) tied to a specific agency, your user account must be affiliated with that agency code.

Your agency’s website administrators are able to add these affiliations to your user account.

2. Your user account may not have permissions to access that function, report, or resource.

There are many items on the website and Service Portal that require specific permissions.

To access a desired item, your user account must be affiliated with the appropriate agency branch AND have that specific permission.

Your agency’s website administrators are able to manage permissions for your user account.
